One of our recent core memories made was our K-POP Demon Hunters event last Fall. Literally hundreds of kiddos dressed as their favorite characters and performed on skates as a group to their favorite Huntrix and Saga Boys songs! The kiddos knew all the dance moves even on skates…so many parents shedding tears of joy! Shout out to all the dads who came dressed up with their daughters😭

**TRANSPARENCY UPDATE** City of LB contacted us and they allegedly put no pressure on 2nd & PCH and it was in fact the landlord’s decision to complete this construction**

We’re heartbroken to share that we are being forced to close our Long Beach roller rink at 2nd & PCH.

After nearly five incredible years operating in our open-air space, the City is now enforcing the original construction permits that require the unit to be enclosed as a standard retail space. Construction to convert the space will begin this spring.

This is a huge loss for our community…but it’s not the end of our story.

✨ We are actively looking for a new LOCAL home in the LBC — and we need your help spreading the word.

Roller rinks require a lot of square footage, and traditional corporate lease rates simply don’t work for a community-driven space like ours. Instead, we operate on a revenue-share model with landlords…a model that works beautifully in areas that need activation. We bring thousands of skaters through our doors every month, and our customers don’t just skate…they shop, dine, and support neighboring businesses. It’s a win for landlords, cities, and local businesses alike.

If you know of a space in Long Beach that needs energy, movement, and community…send them our way.

All memberships will have payments halted and subscriptions canceled, but you can continue skating until our final day. Email rink@pigeonskates.com for questions.

Check out our new MONDAY night practice nights! This is for all you beginners out there with free level 1 classes at 7 PM and free level 2 classes at 8 PM. To take level 2 classes you must know how to skate backwards and stop, which you learn in level 1. Monday nights are not quite for you advanced skaters as the skate mates will be aplenty, come on back on Thursdays with DJ Wayne.
We have got so many fun events in January including TOXIC with a live performance, Country Music afternoon, Stranger Things night (moved from 1/2 to 1/17) Sublime vibes and so much more!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of our Pigeon’s Roller Rink location in Mission Viejo. This community has become so much more than a roller rink to us—it’s a home filled with countless memories, shared laughter, and incredible moments on wheels. We are so grateful for the joy and support you have brought us over the last 8 months.

While this decision is bittersweet, it is also a necessary step forward. For Pigeon’s Roller Rink to truly grow and evolve, we need a new home that can match our vision for the future.
